  8. Name one thing you learned in high school that you didn't expect to learn: I learned the importance of relationships. Knowledge and skills can be learned and acquired at almost any point in your life but the opportunity to connect to select people is as fleeting as life is because people are constantly coming and going. Relationships are what last in your memories and are what you can go back to.
  9. Name one person who has influenced you and why: Yogi Bhajan, the founder of Yogi Tea, has unknowingly been a major part of my life. I am very much a tea enthusiast and his holistic blends have been present throughout my high school years - whether curing illness, promoting sleep, or purely reducing stress and putting me in a better mood. On each teabag, there is also an uplifting quote. These quotes although short, along with the delicious tea blends, have been a source of constant positivity and comfort.
  10. Is there a teacher you would most like to thank and why: There are so many amazing teachers I will be forever indebted to for passing on so much knowledge and compassion. I can only seem to narrow my list to 3, Ms. Kauffman- my AP Biology and Anatomy teacher, Ms. Feigenbaum- my AP Spanish teacher, and Dr. Kingan - my SOA Literature teacher. These people have significantly impacted my life, not only teaching me their respective academic areas but also about how to be a better person. I am very thankful to have had these people as teachers as they have the talents and skills to be anything.
  11. Favorite quote or catchphrase: "Go out on a limb - that's where the fruit is." - Bob Ross
  12. Most cherished high school memory: Some of my most cherished memories are moments helping some new students in my sophomore year gym class, Estefania and Katy. They did not speak very much English, but I was able to translate for them. It was an amazing experience to be able to help them while they were simultaneously helping me practice Spanish. It led to some very interesting and reflective conversations about people and culture that I really enjoyed. Unfortunately, Katy moved out of the county, but I have still been helping Estefania with some of her classes this year.
